Fiber is a positive target, not a limit.

Fiber is the one nutrient VitalPlate scores as a *good* thing. For type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, heart or blood pressure, high blood pressure, gout, and IBS plans, a serving that meets the fiber target earns a positive highlight — it is never flagged as a concern.

Because fiber is a target rather than a ceiling, more is better. A low-fiber food simply doesn’t earn the highlight; it’s never penalized for it.
